  3.      This is an abbreviation for Hits-To-Kill. It is an added statistic
  4. (as of revision 3 of the rules) to deal with a slight complication that
  5. is caused by the original rules.
  6.  
  7.      Basically HTK represents a persons ability to survive. At start the
  8. characters HTK is equal to the Charcaters Hardiness, but this changes 
  9. with time. HTK can be increased with experience, while hardiness cannot
  10. be raised in this way as of this rules change.

  12.      An error was made in the original rules that made it Hardiness that
  13. was raised by Experience. This would eventually lead everyone into being
  14. massive body builders, a concept that just doesn't work in reality.

  16.      It takes 250 STANDARD experience points to buy a point in HTK, a 
  17. far better deal than the old 1000 points that had to be had for the
  18. hardiness concept originally.
